Nathanael’s Creed Becomes a
Quintet (Again)
The big news is that Nathanael’s Creed is pleased to welcome
back Jim Russell as a member of the band. For those of you who
don’t remember, Jim was a founding member of Nathanael's Creed.
He left in 2000 to spend more time with his growing family and
pursue education that led to his ordination as a deacon in the
Catholic Church. Even if you don’t know or remember Jim, you
know his music. He co-wrote some of the band's signature songs,
including "Step Out of the Boat," "For the Least of These,"
“This Day,” and the rousing swing-infected love song, "That's
How I Feel," among others. Jim signs on as the band’s primary
guitarist, but he is also a talented vocalist and
multi-instrumentalist who can jump in on piano, bass, mandolin,
violin and a few others. If you know Jim (or even if you don’t)
you can drop him a line at

Upcoming Projects
The band is in the early stages of a couple of new recording
projects, including a Christmas album and a collection of songs
about prayer and healing. Stay tuned.
Nathanael’s Creed is looking for places to perform later this
summer and into the fall. These concerts can range from
energetic, contemporary, uplifting worship events to intimate
evenings centered on prayer and quiet stories of faith. If your
church or organization would be interested in hosting a concert,
contact Steve or Sue Givens at any of the numbers below.
Hope to see you soon!
Steve, Phil, Gerry, Pat (and Jim!)
